Information about the Daily Life tour from their website:
An hour program that includes the upcoming exhibit: Lincoln and Farmington: An Enduring Friendship and a tour of the museum house and grounds. The focus is on early 19th century life and how it differs from life today. Students will be introduced to fascinating but obsolete artifacts of daily life including chamber pots, bathing tubs, spider skillets, candle-snuffers, slates, quill pens, trundle-beds with shuck mattresses, bed tighteners and sugar cones.
I encourage each of you to visit the website http://www.historichomes.org/farmington/house.html
for more information on this historic location.
